My passion for art is inspired by nature: the wild places and the animals that live in them ― color and light in nature, unity and variety in nature, most of all the wildlife ― knowing that most of us will never experience the endangered species as anything more than fantastic ideas in a story. The wild ones are figments of our shared imagination. These are the ideas from my sketchbook.
