Farm was a single term project created in the third year of an interactive multimedia and design (IMD) degree. A team of four explored the realm of augmented reality using Goblin XNA―simply orchestrating the freeware back in early 2010 was half the battle. The plan was to have the farm animals interact, more specifically play specific animation loops based on proximity, something proven possible but relatively undocumented at the time. I was responsible for 3D modeling and animation, and project management. This clip, below, was captured in the making of, and created in collaboration with Ben King, Jason Moffat and Shaun Perrozzino for a design studio at Algonquin College.
Studio software includes Adobe® Creative Cloud, Autodesk® Maya, Serif Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo; operated on Microsoft® Windows® 7 Professional with NVIDIA Quadro® and Intel® Core™ processing; and, powered by 80 Plus® Gold electric energy.
